When a service member experiences a catastrophic injury resulting in a traumatic brain injury (TBI), or becomes the victim of a preventable tragedy, the traumatic incident impacts their entire family—in an instant their entire lives change.
Our outreach advocates & leadership board understands that military families are often faced with navigating complex healthcare systems, rehabilitation decisions, insurance, military and civilian resources, legal processes, and the emotional challenges that follow a life-altering injury. You don't have to walk this journey alone.
Our outreach offers family-centered advocacy, education resources, and support for active-duty service members, veterans, National Guard, Reserve members, and their loved ones. We work alongside families to help them better understand available resources, organize important information, prepare for critical conversations with care teams, and confidently advocate for their loved one's needs.
If a military service member has been seriously injured or killed as the result of a preventable tragedy—such as a distracted driving, impaired driving, pedestrian collision, hit-and-run, or another traumatic event—Our outreach & advocacy team will stand beside families throughout their journey.
Our Justice & Victim Advocacy services may include:
