Advocacy & Support Care Services

What you can expect after requesting Advocacy/Support Care

When you find yourself in a traumatic situation, one that none of us ever expect to see ourselves in, it can be incredibly overwhelming, numbing and incredibly frightening. We have been there, we know! That is one of the top reasons that this outreach exists.

You do not have to walk this journey alone. We offer advocacy and or support care for victims/survivors and their families - at any point of their journey, completely free of charge.

Here is what you can expect once you request advocacy and /or support care from us:

  • We Review Your Request
One of our advocates will carefully review the information that you provided to understand your situation and your immediate needs.

  • We Contact You
An advocate from our advocacy board will reach out to discuss your circumstances, answer any questions that you might have, and look into how we can best support you. We fully understand that especially if you are in the early days of injury, getting on a phone call can be difficult let alone can be overwhelming and feel like "just one more thing". We are more than willing to have this conversation via text, email or social media messenger! We want to be helpful to you, not an extra stress.

  • Needs Assessment
Together, we'll identify what your priorities may be and determine what advocacy, support care services, resources or education may be appropriate to your situation.

.

  • Personalized Advocacy Plan
If we move forward, we will send you our advocacy services agreement packet. We will then work with you to develop a plan tailored to your goals and needs.

  • Ongoing Support
Advocacy and support care does not always end with one conversation. When it's appropriate, we continue to provide guidance, referrals, education, and encouragement throughout your journey.

  • You're Never Alone
Our mission is to empower survivors, caregivers, and families with compassionate advocacy and/or support care, honest communication, and practical support every step of the way.

  •  Please note: Submitting a request does not guarantee advocacy or support care services. Our advocacy team will carefully review every request that comes through and we will do our best to provide advocacy, support care, referrals, or resources based on your needs and our capacity.

Our advocacy & support care is available to anyone in need within the United States. It's also 100% free, it will not cost your or your family anything. Our goal is to walk beside you and your family during an uneasy, traumatic time, making it a little less scary and a lot less lonely.

The first step is to hit the button below to contact us. Once you have submitted the advocacy or support care request, Katie or one of our other advocates will reach out to you asap!

Please note:

If you submit a request for advocacy via our website and or email, you can expect a response within 24 hours. If you are looking for advocacy and/or support care to start on an emergent basis, please skip the online request and text 520-637-0055, let us know in the text your name, your advocacy/support care need and contact information. Someone will reach out to you right away between the hours of 7am and midnight MST.
