As of November 1st, Addi's Miracle Traumatic Brain Injury Advocacy & Pedestrian Education , which is another outreach division with Survivors Against Distracted Driving, will become a merged website. Please be patient as we work on adding all of the information to this website. It will take a little bit more time to iron out the kinks and get all of the information over here. If you are looking to reach Addi's Miracle, the email address will remain the same : Addismiracleadvocacy@gmail.com
We are hoping that in doing this, it will lessen some confusion as well as the some of the red tape along the way.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Thank you for visiting our page.
We are a dedicated outreach located in Arizona with a nationwide goal. We are committed to educating new drivers about the overlooked dangers of distracted driving as we advocate for safer roads.
Every day, lives are impacted by this growing crisis. In the United States alone 9 lives are taken daily with over 1,000 left with life altering injuries due to a distracted driver. The numbers are not going down, they are going up. Our mission is to raise awareness, prevent tragedies, and support those affected.
Here on our website, you will find a growing list of powerful survivor stories, important statistics from across the United States, and resources designed to inform and empower drivers of all ages. We also support families who have lost loved ones due to distracted driving, offering a compassionate community and a platform for their voices.
We believe that education is power. Because of that ,we are actively developing a comprehensive curriculum aimed at reducing distracted driving and saving lives. Together, through education and awareness, we can make our roads safer for everyone, in every state.
Thank you for joining us in this vital cause. Your support and awareness can make a difference.
Drive safely, stay focused, and help us spread the word.
Sincerely,
The Survivors Against Distracted Drivers Board

LOOK TWICE!!!
Behind every motorcycle helmet is somebody's loved one. A Father, Mother, Sister, Brother or Friend.
According to NHTSA, there are approximately 17 motorcycle fatalities daily in the United States.
77% of motorcyclist's involved in a non fatal accident, still incur severe, life changing injuries.
Here are some reminders for drivers that share the road with motorcycles:
Motorcycles are smaller and can easily hidden in your blind spots. Don't fully rely on mirrors, physically turn your head to check prior to any lane changes.
Most motorcycles do not have automatic turn signal cancellation. Proceed with caution.
Keep 3 to 4 seconds worth of space between you and the motorcycle, if not more at all times.
Motorcycles can come to a stop faster and more abruptly than vehicles. Give that space.
Always signal your intentions far enough in advance for a motorcycle behind you, giving them fair enough warning of what is coming.
Remember that there is no cage of protection around a motorcycle. Every accident is magnified. A simple "fender bender" could cost them their life.

There are now 31 US states that uphold a "NO TOUCH" law. If you are behind the wheel, this means you CANNOT touch your phone. Including at a RED light. Failure to comply to this law is taking lives every single day. If you are in one of the following states, you are at risk of a ticket if an officer sees you:
Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, D.C. ,Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts , Michigan, Minnesota , Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia , Washington, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Iowa.
The "Hands Free Law" forbids drivers to the following, but is not limited to:
*Holding your phone in your hand.
*Reading texts.
*Sending texts.
*Sending voice memos.
*Talking on the phone with your phone in hand.
*Surfing the internet.
*Search music.
*Search playlists.
*Use social media in any matter.
*Record videos.
